Welcome to the International PhD Advisory Council (IPAC) at KU Leuven! We are a group of PhD students from all departments of The Faculty of Engineering Science and IMEC, who believe that the PhD experience at KU Leuven is unique, and that there is potential for even more personal growth if international PhD students organise themselves.
Our mission is to facilitate communication and collaboration between PhD students, locals and internationals, newcomers, departments, and faculty. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all international PhD students at KU Leuven.
To achieve our goals, we have established a Wiki page with a wealth of information on various topics such as housing, visas, health care, cultural events, and much more. Our Wiki page serves as a one-stop-shop for all your questions and concerns as an international PhD student at KU Leuven.
We also organise fun activities and events for the whole international community, giving you the opportunity to make new friends, explore Belgian culture, and network with your peers.
